Khangjrakpam Arjun
Khangjrakpam Arjun and his colleagues got an opportunity by the company to attend the Microsoft Week of AI 2.0 virtual webinar series held in November 2019. After the five days training, he decided to give the test of the five modules covered during the webinar series. His rank in the test was among the top 500 and as an award, he received a free voucher from Microsoft India to take DP-100 certification examination. He took the opportunity during the lock-down to prepare well for the examination and we congratulate him for successfully passing the certification test. He is now a certified Azure Data Scientist Associate. Besides this, he has done a few other courses on different e-learning platforms like Coursera and Cognitive Class.

to learn
new skills. My childhood dream has been to work in the power sector.
As a Business Development Manager, we are the first point of contact to clients and
customers. I
decided to use this lockdown period to enhance my skills by doing some courses. I did
three
courses during this period – first course on Energy Economics, Environment and Policy so
that I
can understand the economic condition of the power market; second course on Private
Financing
Infrastructure and Sustainable Growth for understanding the infrastructure and
sustainable
growth of the power marketr; and third course on Business Management to enhance my
managerial
skills.
My motto for life is “Nothing is impossible in this world if you have willingness to
win.”
Diwakar Pathak
After making research for a course that will enhance my professional career, I decided to
pursue
an MBA in Power Management. I believe that an MBA will help me to enhance analytical
skills in
identifying and resolving power management issues and exhibit effective decision-making
skills
in the power and energy market. My current role entails energy management of projects,
energy
auditing, commercial engineering, etc. which can be enhanced by my completing MBA in
Power
Management. This is a big opportunity for me to simultaneously utilize my academic
knowledge in
a practical way.
I also utilized the lockdown judicially by doing an additional course called Energy
within
Environmental Constraints. This course has helped me to build knowledge regarding

To understand the solar market, points of feasibility and commissioning of solar plants
better, I

Solar Energy to enhance my technical skills.
